2009 Depression?!?!?

1. I think it's always possible for America to go back into a state of depression. Because it is possible for things to crash and all humans must fend for themselves. I do sometimes think about what it would be like to live in a depression but it is not something I plan on doing.

2. Some sacrifices would be things like don't leave water running, waste food, clothes, valuable possessions that are needed to survive. If my parents lost their jobs I would be very mad because I don't know what I do. I would probably go into the woods and survive on my own.

3.It would look different I agree but I don't know if we would be just really lazy watching t.v. or something I thin k people would be more motivated to get out of that state.

Simpsons Video HW

Part I: I think the producers of the episode did a good job of assesing the accuries of history in this episode. People in the town thought the answer to their problems was banning alcohol. Also in the episode illegal speakieasies were popular amongst the people and alson the police. The polic in the episode were getting paid to look the other way. I did enjoy the episode I thought it got across the message of the 1920's in a fun way.

Part II: I woukd edit the scene from the when they found the law that banned alcohol in Springfiled. I would have made so after when Bart got drunk at the parade the people would have been so outaged that hey would just make it illegal themselves.

Is it right idf the government can take away rights in a time of war?

I think it was uncostitutional when the government made the people of the U.S. give up certain freedoms during WWI. When the government was basically filtering everything said negativly about the war effort was not allowed to posted. Which goes against the admendment to freedom of speech and press. It was wrong and a dark time in the American times. It was unconstituntional.
